At Hope Christian Fellowship of Oceanside, we stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word and are committed to living out our faith in Jesus Christ. Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and guide everything we do as a church.

1. The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is our ultimate guide for faith and life.

2. The One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14). He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day to give us eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

4. Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). No amount of good works can earn salvation—it is only through Christ’s sacrifice that we are saved.

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in every believer, empowering us to live a holy life and fulfill God’s purpose (John 14:26, Acts 1:8).

6. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, disciple, serve, and spread the Gospel (Ephesians 4:11-13). We are a family of faith, growing together in love and unity.

7. The Return of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will return to establish His Kingdom and bring His followers into eternal glory (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

8. Eternal Life

We believe in heaven and hell as real, eternal destinations. Those who trust in Jesus will have everlasting life with God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation (John 3:16, Revelation 20:15).
